Care

Using UNDo daily or occasionally without fear, the next time won't be/feel like the first time requires just the good amount of care that any professional or enthusiast cook knows goes into making sure their favorite tools will last a lifetime.

Using the Pan

I. Preheat Gently

 - Heat slowly over low to medium heat. Copper heats very quickly, making high heat unnecessary

 - Avoid preheating the pan while empty. Turn off the heat or turn the heat down to the minimum

II. Add Fat Before Cooking

 - Use butter, oil, or another fat after preheating briefly. This protects the silver and prevents sticking

III. Cooking Tools

 - Use wood, silicone, or plastic utensils like PEEK, PTFE, PPS, and PP

 - Avoid metal tools; they can scratch the silver lining

IV. Avoid Acidic Foods for Long Cooking

 - Silver is non-reactive, but to preserve its integrity, avoid simmering acidic foods (like tomato sauces) forhours

Cleaning After Use

V. Cool Before Washing

 - Let the pan cool down completely before washing to avoid warping

VI. Hand Wash Only

 - Use warm water with mild soap and a soft sponge

 - Never put it in the dishwasher

VII. No Abrasives on the Silver

 - Do not use steel wool or harsh scrubbers on the inside

Maintaining the Copper

VIII. Polish Regularly

- Copper tarnishes over time. Use professional copper polish or a homemade     mix (lemon juice and salt orvinegar and salt) to restore shine

- Avoid copper polish contact with the silver interior
